The WeObservatory offers four different activities: (a) a selection of innovative projects, (b) eApplications, (c) a selection of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and (d) a Library. The innovative projects are selected from among those posted by participating nurses to Care Challenge—the ideas-sharing website of the nursing community worldwide, created by Connecting Nurses Committee improve patient support through the use of telemedicine and eHealth services. The inclusion of these projects in the WeObservatory aims to expand their visibility and aid their founders in establishing connections with Millennia2015 communities in diverse regions and countries. Starting in 2012, the WeObservatory Steering has selected five Care Challenge projects per year, seeking to improve patient support through the use of telemedicine and eHealth services.
