It was launched at the special Women and eHealth session at MedeTel in Luxembourg in April 2013. The WeObservatory is one of the WeHealth Action Plans, formulated by Millennia2015 based on the results of the 2010-2012 WeHealth Study. The WeObservatory selects Care Challenge projects every year for a one-year long partnership. The selected projects benefit of the Millennia2025 Foundation international network to expand their activities. Mostly supported are projects initiated and conducted by women and/or projects improving the use of telemedicine services.
