A project aiming to improve maternal health – and especially reduce maternal obesity – is being conducted by the Mongolian Midwives Association together with the Japanese Midwives Association. In support of this project a mobile application was developed by UniversalDoctor with the financial support of Midwives for Life Award/Connecting Midwives and Millennia2025 Foundation WeObservatory.
The application was recently tested by the midwives of the Second Maternity Hospital of Ulaanbaatar” (SMHU), Mongolia. Their feedback is encouraging:
“It is easy to use and understand as a Mongolian.”
“It is wonderful to have it in the Mongolian language.”
“It is great to be able to work out my BMI”
